Coach Mauricio

Mauricio is a professional in Physical Culture, Sports, and Recreation, graduated from Santo Tomás University. He began playing tennis at the age of 15 and continued his development competing at the university level, where he strengthened both his technical skills and overall understanding of the game.

Mauricio currently offers private tennis lessons for all ages and all levels, tailoring each session to meet the individual goals and needs of every player. He holds a PTR certification, which supports his professional, structured, and player-development-focused approach.

Mauricio strongly believes that tennis is much more than technique and competition. He often says that almost every tennis player experiences unforgettable moments—tripping over the baseline, swinging so hard the racket flies out of their hand, or calling “mine!” in doubles only to watch the ball land untouched between partners. Those moments stay with us forever because no matter how serious the match is, tennis always finds a way to humble us and remind us to enjoy the game.
