Welcome to our Tennis and Pickleball Programs at Franco Racquet Sports. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in our programs. By signing up for a lesson, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and we thank you for your commitment to a positive, respectful, and sportsmanlike experience for all.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By participating in our programs, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not proceed with your participation.

MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted here, and by continuing to participate in our programs after changes have been made, you agree to abide by the revised terms and conditions.

GROUP LESSONS 

Participation in group lessons signifies your commitment to the session, which typically lasts between 4 to 6 weeks. Please note that once enrolled, cancellations of individual lessons are not permitted.

To discontinue your classes, we require a mandatory two-week notice prior to your planned exit date. If notice is not provided, you will be charged for those two final weeks.

A minimum of 3 people must be signed up for the lesson to take place. If the minimum sign-up requirement is not complete, we will inform you 24 hours before the class happens. If the minimum sign-up requirement is not fulfilled, we will return your money back in full.

If you wish to withdraw your registration before the first lesson starts and the minimum sign-up requirement for the lesson is complete, you will receive a refund minus a 6.8% fee from the total amount.

Please reach out directly to your coach regarding make-up lessons. Please be aware that for non-weather related make-ups, availability is dependent on the teaching coach's schedule and there may be times when make-ups are not available.

Your enrollment in group lessons will be recurrent, meaning you won't have to re-enroll every 4 to 6 weeks. We've implemented this policy to help with our planning and to provide you with a more consistent training schedule.


This change ensures that you won't have to worry about enrolling every few weeks or receiving multiple emails and text messages. Most importantly, it allows us to plan the level and lesson plan for each group of students more thoroughly and to have more consistency and continuity.

Refund fee: Any excusable refunds made will incur a 6.8% processing charge on the total amount being refunded.

CAMPS

Participation in camps signifies your commitment to the session, which typically lasts for one week, from Monday to Thursday, with Friday serving as a makeup day. Once enrolled, withdrawal from the camp is not permitted.

If you wish to withdraw your registration more than one week before the camp begins, you will receive a refund minus a 6.8% fee from the total amount. If you withdraw less than a week before camp begins, we will not be able to provide a refund.

A minimum of 3 people must be signed up for the camp to take place. If the minimum sign-up requirement is not met, we will inform you 24 hours before the camp is scheduled to start. If the minimum sign-up requirement is not fulfilled, we will return your money back in full.

Please reach out directly to your coach regarding any questions or clarifications. Note that for weather-related make-ups, availability is dependent on the schedule and there may be times when make-ups are not available.

Your enrollment in our camps ensures a comprehensive and enriching training experience. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these policies.

CANCELLATIONS/ MAKE-UP LESSONS

In the case of inclement weather causing class cancellations, make-up classes will be provided on weekends. These classes will cover sessions missed from Monday to Thursday due to weather conditions. At this time, we do not offer credits or refunds for weather-related cancellations. Make-up sessions on weekends are the only provided alternative. Ask your coach or customer service what the exact dates and times for weather make-ups are for your session. 

COLD WEATHER GUIDELINES

For Elementary School students or younger, no practice will occur for group lessons when the wind chill factor index is 43° F or lower at the time of the lesson, based on the National Weather Service. For private lessons, the coach and the parent can decide whether to proceed with the lesson if the wind chill factor is 43° F or below.

For Middle School Students to Adults, no practice will occur for group lessons when the wind chill factor index is 38° F or lower at the time of the lesson, based on the National Weather Service. For private lessons, the coach and the parent can decide whether to proceed with the lesson if the wind chill factor is 38° F or below.

HOT WEATHER GUIDELINES

For all ages, if the heat index is between 100°F and 107°F, the class will proceed with low impact tennis activities, with breaks every 10 minutes and part of the class conducted off-court. If the temperature exceeds 107°F, the class will be cancelled.

RAIN GUIDELINES

In cases where the court is wet due to rain, the lesson will be canceled. Determination of whether the lesson is canceled due to rain will be made by the coach, potentially up to 2 hours before the lesson if a change in weather forecast is expected. Notification of weather cancellations will happen one hour before the start of the class by the coach via text message.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Tardiness to private lessons will not be compensated with make-up time. If our coach is late, we offer a prorated lesson fee adjustment. Cancellation of a private lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time, directly to your assigned coach via text message. Please refer to our comprehensive private lesson policy for specific details about late arrivals, cancellations, and package policies.

PRICING AND CHARGING

Before your first private class you will need to pay an invoice for the total amount of the class. Thereafter we will send you an invoice via email within 5 business days after your lesson. Please check your Spam folder regularly for invoices. Our private lessons are recurring. Should you decide to stop taking lessons altogether, we require a 7 days' notice.

Before your first private class you will need to pay an invoice for the total amount of the class. Thereafter we will send you an invoice via email within 5 business days after your lesson. Please check your Spam folder regularly for invoices. Our private lessons are recurring. Should you decide to stop taking lessons altogether, we require a 7 days' notice.
