Coach Ryan

Ryan is 28 years old and grew up in Mansfield, Texas. His journey in tennis began at the age of 9, when his dad took him to a local park to hit the ball just for fun — but that casual moment quickly turned into a lifelong passion.

He started taking lessons several times a week and played competitively throughout his school years. Ryan participated in countless tournaments and reached champ level before a knee injury during his senior year of high school put a pause on his competitive path.

Fun fact:
One of Ryan’s favorite memories is playing outside during middle school on extremely windy days. Not only was hitting the ball a fun challenge, but trying to yell the score loud enough over the wind made the matches even more entertaining.

Today, Ryan brings that same love and energy for the game into his coaching. He’s passionate about helping others fall in love with tennis, just like he did.
